untold stories collab

Lucas, my husband, and I have had these photographs for a long time. Since our first house together.

 

The photographs are of his authorship. He is a film director, and actor, a screenwriter… but also a dope photographer, he has a beautiful and sensitive work. His father made the frames, who is also an artist and sculptor.

We love these photos very much, but we felt it was time to give them a new meaning. Since our first house, a lot has changed. We moved to a different country, we moved back, we changed our company, our tastes. We changed. 

​

So using the mixed media technique of painting + photography, which is one of my favorites, I gradually brought another meaning to these paintings. And this is the result of our collab.
